India’s apex pension regulator, the Pension Fund Regulatory and Development Authority of India (PFRDA) has appointed Sivasubramanian Ramann as its Chairperson for a five-year tenure.
Currently serving as Deputy Comptroller & Auditor General (Central Revenue Audit) and CTO of India, Ramann previously held key leadership roles, including Chairman & Managing Director of SIDBI and MD & CEO of NeSL (2016–2021).
He also served as Executive Director at SEBI (2007–2013) and held significant positions within the C&AG of India and the Indian High Commission in London.
An alumnus of St. Stephen’s College and FMS, Delhi University, Ramann holds an M.Sc. in Regulations from LSE, an LLB from Mumbai University, and a PG Diploma in Securities Law. He is also a Certified Internal Auditor from IIA, Florida.
