Online trading company Plus500 Ltd (LON:PLUS) announces an update to the terms of the proposed election of Ms. Anne Grim as a director in the company, such that she will now be put forward for election as an Independent Non-Executive Director for a one-year term, instead of as an External Director and Independent Non-Executive Director, under Israel’s Companies Law, for a three-year term.
In the Board’s view, this proposal better aligns the company with the UK Corporate Governance Code. The requisite majority for approving Ms. Grim’s election remains unchanged.
Plus500 will hold an EGM at the offices of Liberum Capital Limited, Ropemaker Place, 25 Ropemaker Street, London EC2Y 9LY at 10.00 am (UK time) on Monday, 8 January 2024.
