Cboe Canada Inc. welcomes Purpose Investments as they add two new tickers to their existing suite of Yield Shares funds, single stock focused ETFs designed to offer monthly distributions and long-term exposure to U.S. listed stocks.
The new Yield Shares ETFs are now listed on Cboe Canada under the following names and symbols:
- AMD (AMD) Yield Shares Purpose ETF (YAMD)
- META (META) Yield Shares Purpose ETF (YMET)
“Since the debut of Yield Shares in 2022, our clients have eagerly called for more opportunities to invest in the best global companies. We listened, and now we’re proud to deliver! Today, we’re thrilled to unveil Meta and AMD Yield Shares – empowering Canadians to earn monthly yields, while investing in groundbreaking companies at the forefront of technology and AI. The new Meta and AMD Yield shares provide another way to invest in the future, harness innovation, and let your portfolio thrive alongside the pioneers of tomorrow,” says Vlad Tasevski, Head of Asset Management, at Purpose Investments.
The Purpose Yield Shares ETFs offer exposure to some of the biggest companies listed in the U.S., while offering enhanced monthly income through covered call strategies and moderate leverage. The funds also mitigate foreign exchange risk by hedging all exposure to the US dollar.
“Congratulations to Purpose as they expand their suite of Yield Shares ETFs. Now investors looking to invest in Magnificent Seven stocks can also access the potential for enhanced income,” noted Rob Marrocco, Global Head of ETF Listings at Cboe Global Markets. “It is an honour to be chosen as the exclusive listing venue for Yield Shares, further validating our ability to support each asset manager’s unique needs with world-class support and expertise.”
The new funds join 15 Purpose ETFs already listed on Cboe Canada. Investors can trade units of all Purpose ETFs through their usual investment channels, including discount brokerage platforms and full-service dealers.
Cboe Canada is home to ETFs from Canada’s largest ETF issuers, Canadian Depositary Receipts (CDRs), and some of the most innovative Canadian and international growth companies. Cboe consistently facilitates 15% of all volume traded in Canadian listed securities.
