The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has granted approval for Pradeep Natarajan to assume the position of Whole Time Director at IDFC FIRST Bank Limited. Natarajan, an esteemed professional with a wealth of experience in the banking sector, will embark on a three-year tenure in this pivotal role.
The decision, communicated through a letter dated May 16, 2024, follows an earlier notification from IDFC FIRST Bank dated December 30, 2023, announcing his proposed appointment. As per the RBI’s directive, Natarajan will serve as the bank’s Executive Director for the stipulated period.
The formalization of his appointment will require ratification by the bank’s shareholders. IDFC FIRST Bank will undertake the necessary steps to complete the formalities in due course.
