Taiko has officially launched the Liquidity Royale: TVL Masters Edition, a new initiative designed to reward top liquidity providers with significant prizes. According to taiko.mirror.xyz, the event features an allocation of 1 million TAIKO tokens from the Trailblazers Season 2 prize pool.
Event Structure and Rewards
The Liquidity Royale aims to maintain a high Total Value Locked (TVL) within the Taiko network, which is essential for network stability and user confidence. Throughout the event, random snapshots will be conducted to track the top liquidity providers across selected projects. At the end of the season, the top 100 participants will each receive 10,000 TAIKO tokens. This ensures that all participants within the top 100, regardless of their exact ranking, will be rewarded equally.
Participation Guidelines
Participation in the Liquidity Royale is open to all. Participants must provide liquidity in designated pools on selected decentralized applications (dApps). Snapshots, which can occur at any time, will determine the participants’ standings, with points awarded in a 1:1 ratio to the USD value of the assets provided. Importantly, liquidity providers will not face point deductions for withdrawing assets between snapshots.
To maximize their chances, participants are encouraged to start early and maintain their liquidity positions. A separate leaderboard will track TVL providers, independent of the Trailblazers Season 2 leaderboard, to ensure accurate ranking throughout the campaign.
Eligible Pools and dApps
Taiko has partnered with Panko and TakoTako to facilitate liquidity provision. On Panko, participants can provide liquidity to the USDC-ETH or USDC-USDT pools and stake their LP tokens. On TakoTako, liquidity can be supplied in USDC or ETH. All eligible pools are marked with the Liquidity Royale tag.
Upcoming Snapshot
The first snapshot is scheduled for later this week, providing an early opportunity for participants to secure points and climb the leaderboard. This initial snapshot will set the stage for the ongoing competition, with the leaderboard expected to go live by Friday.
As Trailblazers Season 2 progresses, Taiko promises more features and opportunities for participants, emphasizing community engagement and participation in network growth.
