FNG has learned that newly formed Retail FX and CFDs broker Tauro Markets has hired Cypurs based executive Anastasios Lamaris to the position of Head of Dealing.
Anastasios Lamaris joins Tauro Markets from rival CySEC licensed broker Octa Markets, where he served as Head of Dealing for the past year. Prior to his time at Octa, Anastasios worked for two years at Scope Markets in Cyprus, with the titles of Head of Brokerage and Head of Dealing & Risk.
Tauro Markets, managed mainly from Cyprus and Dubai, was launched last year by former BDSwiss CEO Alexander Oelfke, who acts as CEO of Tauro, with financial backing from Kuwait based investor JM Financial and its CEO David Dubrulle. Tauro is beginning life as an offshore (Saint Vincent & The Grenadines domiciled) CFDs broker. The company has also brought on board former Tickmill BizDev head Carla Nemr as Chief Commercial Officer, former BDSwiss Head Of Client Experience Liam Murphy as COO, and ex BDSwiss exec Marc Suárez as Head of Marketing.
