The Tezos Foundation has unveiled the recipients of its latest grant program for May and June 2024, targeting a diverse array of projects that span across DeFi, gaming, and other innovative sectors, according to Tezos Spotlight.

Transak

Transak is set to integrate Etherlink into its liquidity system, simplifying the on-ramping process of tokens for Tezos chain partners. This integration aims to streamline user onboarding for decentralized applications (dapps) by reducing the steps required to start using Tezos dapps. Developers will benefit from easier integration, potential revenue boosts, and happier users, ultimately strengthening the Tezos ecosystem.

Subsquid

Subsquid offers a data lake solution that aggregates both on-chain and off-chain data. With Etherlink support now integrated into Subsquid’s decentralized data lake, developers can quickly build indexers and access all the on-chain data necessary to run their applications. This development provides a robust toolset for scalable and efficient dapp development, opening new possibilities within the Tezos ecosystem.

3Route

3Route is revolutionizing transactions as a cross-DEX on-chain aggregator. It offers liquidity from the most popular Tezos DEXes in one swap, ensuring competitive prices and low slippage. The platform’s auto-routing feature guarantees cost-efficient and seamless transactions across multiple DEXes within the Tezos network, optimizing trades and reducing additional fees.

Baking Bad

Baking Bad is focused on building and scaling blockchain explorers, developer tools, and DeFi products. Their notable projects include:

  • DipDup, a Python framework for creating dapp-specific smart contract indexers, helping developers focus on business logic rather than boilerplate code.

  • PyTezos, a Python library designed for interacting with the Tezos blockchain, testing smart contracts, and writing Michelson scripts.

  • Netezos, a cross-platform Tezos SDK for .NET developers, offering high-performance functionality for interacting with the Tezos blockchain and enabling seamless integration for Unity game developers.

Looking Ahead

The grantees announced for May and June 2024 represent just a fraction of the innovative projects supported by the Tezos Foundation. As the foundation’s permanent grant initiative continues, it aims to nurture the best ideas and founders in the industry, consistently pushing the boundaries of what’s possible within the Tezos ecosystem.
