Jefferies today posted a notice regarding a placing of 6.5 million existing shares in electronic trading major IG Group Holdings plc (LON:IGG).
Tom Sosnoff and Scott Sheridan have sold 6.5 million ordinary shares in IG Group to a limited number of institutional investors, representing approximately 1.8% of the existing share capital in IG Group.
Jefferies LLC acted as Sole Global Coordinator and Sole Bookrunner in connection with the placing.
Settlement of the placing is expected on September 2, 2024. Subject to customary exceptions or obtaining prior consent from the Manager, the Selling Shareholders will be subject to a lock up period of 90 days.
IG will not receive any proceeds from the placing.
