FNG has learned that London/Sofia based online broker Trading 212 has hired Christos Drakos as Head of Crypto.
Christos Drakos joins Trading 212 from neobank Revolut, where he served as Executive Director of Revolut’s Cyprus unit for the past three years. He has also previously worked at ArgusFX, and at ETX Capital.
We would note that Revolut recently brought on board former Binance executive Reem Khayat, to head Crypto product marketing.
Trading 212 is controlled by Bulgarian entrepreneurs Borislav Nedialkov and Ivan Ashminov, and operates licensed subsidiaries in the UK, Australia, Germany, Bulgaria, and Cyprus. The company is run day-to-day by London based CEO Mukid Chowdhury.
