TradingView today introduced a new Percentage (LTP) calculation type for Renko, Kagi, and Point and Figure (PnF) chart types.

In this mode, the box size is a percentage of the last traded price (LTP) at the moment when the symbol is loaded. Once calculated, this box size rounded to the nearest minimum tick size and applied consistently across all bars.

The box size is then additionally rounded to ensure it stays relatively consistent as long as the price does not change dramatically, which helps reduce repainting.

For example, on the chart below, the Percentage input is set to 1%. As the last traded price of AAPL is 209.07, 1% of it is equal to 2.0907, which is then rounded to 2.

To turn on the “PercentageLTP” calculation mode and change the percentage value, switch the chart to Renko, Kagi, or Point and Figure, and open the Chart settings.

TradingView has recently added new chart layout patterns.

Now, users of the platform can choose from more patterns of chart layouts to maximize their analysis customization. There are 12 new ways to organize charts in a layout — to see them all, click the Select layout button on the upper toolbar, and get started.

Other recent improvements concern the Stock Screener, which now features enhanced indicators for in-depth analysis and stock selection. These additions include various performance ratios, capital and debt management metrics, a new growth indicator, and an extra security identifier.
