Union Bank of India has announced the resignation of its Chief Digital Officer (CDO) Rajnish Khare.

In a regulatory disclosure submitted on Friday, the bank said that Khare has submitted his resignation and will no longer be associated with the services from April 12, 2024.

The disclosure to the National Stock Exchange (NSE) and Bombay Stock Change (BSE) said that in terms of Regulation 30 and 51 of Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations 2015, it is to be notified that Rajnish Khare has resigned.

“Resignation on account of prolonged reflection on his professional journey and personal principles,” the bank outlined the reason for the change.

The PSB further added that Anil Kuril, the Chief General Manager and Chief Technology Officer of the bank would be bestowed upon additional duty and responsibility as the Head of its Digitisation Department.

The regulatory filing was submitted by the bank’s Company Secretary (CS) Santanu Kumar Dash.

It is to be noted that Anil Kuril was elevated to the CGM position from the General Manager’s role on March 2, 2024 after the then CGM Rajiv Mishra was appointed as the Executive Director of Bank of India.
