IT services provider Wipro said on Thursday that Jatin Dalal has resigned as chief financial officer to pursue other opportunities after more than two decades with the company, according to a regulatory filing. Aparna Iyer, who has been with the IT major for over 20 years, will replace Dalal, effective September 22.
“Aparna has been integral to our finance transformation over the last few years, playing a key role in our financial strategy and planning, investment programs, and transformation initiatives,” Wipro CEO Thierry Delaporte said in a statement.
Dalal joined Wipro in 2002 and became president and CFO in 2015. He will leave the company on November 30.
Aparna joined Wipro in April 2003. She has held several finance roles including internal audit, business finance and finance planning and analysis among others. Most recently, she was senior vice president and CFO of Wipro FullStride Cloud.
