FNG Exclusive… FNG has learned that Cyprus based Retail FX and CFDs broker SquaredFinancial has hired experienced industry executive Hakam Thalji, as the company’s new Head of Dealing.
Hakam Thalji joins SquaredFinancial after spending the past year at retail prop trading firm The Trading Pit. Hakam joined The Trading Pit late last year as Head of Dealing, as was also exclusively reported at the time here at FNG, after working since 2018 at Orbex, serving as Head of Brokerage and Dealing Room Operations. Prior to joining Orbex, he had worked at Vinson Financials, Falcon Brokers and Trade Center.
SquaredFinancial, headed by Founder and CEO Philippe Ghanem, has made a number of recent senior hires including ADSS alum Francis Lee as Head of Asia, Tawfiq Rabi as BizDev Manager, Drosoula Hadjisavva as CMO, and Thomas Selby as CSO.
