FNG Exclusive… FNG has learned that experienced FX industry executive William Klippel has joined StoneX Group Inc (NASDAQ:SNEX), as Head of Strategic Partnerships & Alliances – Self-Directed, Americas for the company’s StoneX Retail unit.
The move marks a reunion for William Klippel with the company – he worked for 15 years at Gain Capital in a variety of sales and product development positions starting in 2005, leaving in 2020 after Gain Capital was acquired by StoneX. Gain Capital’s operating brands, Retail FX and CFD brokers Forex.com and City Index, formed the basis of StoneX’s Retail division, which is still run by former Gain Capital CEO Glenn Stevens.
After leaving Gain Capital / Forex.com in 2020 William worked as Head of Sales for Capitalise.ai, and as Vertical Head of Investment Platforms at Zero Hash.
