Exness’ Chief Customer Officer (CCO) Damian Bunce has announced on social media that he is leaving the company at the end of the month.

We understand that his decision was (in part) due to a decision to leave Cyprus and move back to London.

Damian Bunce joined Exness in 2021 as Chief Trading Officer, and then had his role expanded in 2022 to Chief Customer Officer, overseeing Exness’ trading product and risk management functions for both its B2C and B2B businesses. He was also involved in the company’s Marketing and Brand.

Damian Bunce has over 25 years of experience in electronic trading at leading financial institutions including Goldman Sachs, Barclays Capital and Sberbank CIB. Before joining Exness he was a member of the board of management at Saxo Bank, overseeing its worldwide commercial activities as Chief Commercial Officer, responsible for the global client facing product and P&L activities of Saxo bank including all B2C and B2B2C business lines.

Damian posted the following note today on LinkedIn:

After close to 3.5 years at exness, I tendered my resignation last week and will start a new job and a new chapter in April. (hint 👆)

Sometimes when joining a company as a top exec you get unlucky, you start when the company is in a hole and you can’t turn it around fast enough. Sometimes you get lucky, you start when the rocket is ready for liftoff and at exness I got lucky riding an incredible growth period, many highs, (a few lows of course) but the most incredible business I ever saw since my days at Goldman Sachs.

So many awesome people, great memories and always thankful for the experiences and learnings. Best of luck to exness and its people in the years ahead.
