This week marked the launch of three new brands in the online trading space covering the gamut of institutional liquidity, prop trading, and FX/CFD brokerage consultancy – and all three were reported exclusively here at FNG. (And yes, we do realize that others often copy our headlines – but thankfully Google also realizes it 🙂!)

FNG Exclusive… FNG has learned that James Glyde, a former longtime senior executive at Spotware Systems – the developer of the cTrader trading platform – has launched a new brand in the “Funded Trader” retail prop trading space, called PipFarm (at website pipfarm.com). PipFarm will be domiciled in Singapore, and will run on his former employer’s cTrader platform. James Glyde spent six years at Spotware from 2013-2019, the last three as Chief Commercial Officer of the company.

FNG Exclusive… FNG has learned that experienced FX industry executive Louay Amhaz has launched a new institutional FX and CFD liquidity firm, called LP Prime. LP Prime will be formally domiciled in South Africa, with operating company Logan Capital (Pty) Ltd acting as an authorized Financial Services Provider regulated by the Financial Sector Authority (FSCA) of South Africa (License no. 52610). Louay Amhaz spent the past seven years working as Director Of Business Development for multi-asset trading technology solutions provider oneZero in Cyprus.

Lea Wang 4XTCLea Wang 4XTCExclusive: PrimeXM/Plugit alum Lea Wang launches FX broker consultancy 4XTC. FNG Exclusive… FNG has learned that experienced FX and CFDs industry executive Lea Wang has launched a new firm offering consultancy services for multi-asset brokers, called 4XTC (at website 4xtc.io). Lea Wang, who is based in Cyprus, was EVP and COO of FX broker CRM and Affiliate management solutions specialist PLUGIT for three years (2019-2022), and previously served as Head of Global Account Management for broker tech and liquidity solutions company PrimeXM, where she worked for four years.

Plus500 new officesPlus500 new officesExclusive: Plus500 doubling its Israel office space, recruiting workers. FNG Exclusive… FNG has learned that Retail FX and CFDs broker Plus500 Ltd (LON:PLUS) is embarking on a major expansion. Sources in Israel are reporting that Plus500 is set to lease an additional 5,800 square meters of office space near its current global headquarters in Haifa, Israel, while the company is actively recruiting employees for a variety of fields. Plus500 plans to expand its activities and is thus reportedly recruiting employees for dozens of jobs in the fields of development and software, sales and business development, alongside jobs in other fields.

Skilled Funded Traders prop firm shutSkilled Funded Traders prop firm shutSkilled Funded Traders becomes second Easton prop firm shut. Another day, another retail prop trading firm shuts down. After reporting yesterday that popular prop firm The Funded Trader has (supposedly temporarily) ceased operations, another firm – Skilled Funded Traders – has also taken down its website (skilledfundedtraders.com). It appears as though The Funded Trader and Skilled Funded Traders are both affiliated with an outfit called Easton Consulting Technologies, out of Miami, Florida.
