The MD & CEO of Kotak Mahindra Bank, a day after the RBI curb, assured its customers that the bank is working to address the concerns raised and is in constant communication with the regulator (RBI) to resolve any issues promptly.

Ashok Vaswani in a letter to its customers emphasised that bank’s operations continue uninterrupted for all the existing customers across all channels.

“You continue to have access to all your existing banking services including branches, bank accounts, Credit/Debit cards, ATMs, Mobile and net banking facilities. However, we have temporarily paused the issuance of new credit cards,” Vaswani said in his message.

Rest assured, we are actively working to address the concerns raised and we are in constant communication with the regulator to resolve any issues promptly, he added.
